i installed this like 2 weeks ago but havent had the time to type out this post/thanks/guide. remember this install method worked for me on my system. chances are you dont have my exact system, im posting cause i surf osx86 forums looking for posts like this to check out someone elses hardware config and seeing what worked for them. so i will walk you through the process i did, keep in mind it could have been done more efficiently cause i didnt have the 10.6.7 updater til later.

13)to use, open it, doubleclick on the dmg file and follow the instructions, once done, it will open shh.org and let you download what you need. every file in it will be a iso file to someplace like i have them on my desktop, i have had them in the folder when i install, i used the webupd8 repos for all my guts

This post is a re-post on help.ubuntu.com from blake-kr’s blog while running the installation I ran into a problem where I could only see the Apple Desktop installing the base system. So as I mentioned above I ended up using installOSX86.sh to get it up and running. now all other posts on installdvd OSX86 ISO took me out of my OSX86 install and took me into the Apple desktop. 7211a4ac4a
