The PlasticCompilation released on elpee, extended cassette and extra-extended CD in March 1990 in the UK and US (Polydor, 841 970-1/4/2); reached #4 on the UK charts and #41 on the US charts (RIAA-certified 4X platinum record). Re-released on remastered CD in 1998 in the UK (Polydor, 537 459-2) with slightly different cover.

Songs recorded live at Pittsburgh's Stanley Theater in Sep 1980 include "Exodus," "Could You Be Loved," "Redemption Song," "No Woman, No Cry," "Jamming" and more. Rita, Damien and Rohan Marley are interviewed, as well as Marcia Griffiths, biographer Vivien Goldman, and Doug Gebhard - a former journalist who covered the 1980 Pittsburgh show and is now a priest. These interviews discuss the concert, Marley's philosophies and influential moments from his life.
